With Mohiomap, organizing, managing, and visualizing your cloud content becomes a breeze. We love hearing from our Power Users and how they are able to integrate Mohiomap seamlessly into their workflow, making the most of what Mohiomap has to offer. What is this Power User term I talk of? It’s a person that knowledgeably uses, for example, a computer or software with advanced skill and capability. They make the most of a technology and have made it an integrated part of their workflow.
It’s not just for the cool group, I promise. This post will not only give you the beginning steps to becoming a Power User but you may also discover aspects of Mohio you weren’t already aware of. You’ll feel much more in control of your Cloud files and once you’ve started, it won’t take much to maintain with quick access search tools and bookmarks in Mohiomap.
It’s easy to get started as a Mohiomap Power User, and you’ll be able to show your team how on top of your work you are in no time with the help of Mohiomap.

Logging in consistently
I don’t mean everyday, but at least once or twice a week, just enough to make it a weekly habit. This is a crucial beginning step on your journey to being a Power User as it sets a basis for Mohiomap’s integration into your workflow.
Our most active users create their own routine to check back in to their Mohiomap regularly and complete at least one task before exiting the app. These sorts of actions can include, opening a bookmark of a current project, performing a search across the platforms to adding reminders to existing notes.
Added Mohiomap to Chrome for quicker access
As you would be using Mohiomap several times a week, we offer a shortcut link from the Chrome Webstore.
Once you add it to Chrome it can be accessed via the Chrome app page. Just select ‘Apps’ in the bookmarks bar or Google’s menu to access Mohiomap from the Chrome apps menu.
The Chrome Webstore is also a great place to leave reviews and comments - and you can check out what others have said about Mohio.
Creating bookmarks of your most used views
Power Users make sure they get back to work quicker by bookmarking frequently opened folders, favorite notebooks, and complex searches.
A great example of how a Power User would make the most of this is when they also integrate Evernote WebClipper into their toolset. They already have a saved Mohiomap bookmark for their weekly links from the WebClipper and any new notes added during the week will update in their saved bookmark for reviewing at the end of the week in the app.
Three bookmarks just aren’t enough for our Power Users, so they are also likely to be a Mohiomap Premium member where they have unlimited access to bookmark to the max.
Make your changes to your documents and notes inside Mohiomap
Power Users’ time is of the essence and managing so many documents in separate places is not efficient. Though many users go straight to their desktop folders to open files to edit, why not access the document (particularly for Google Drive and Evernote) straight from your Mohiomap.
Our Power Users stay focused in the Mohiomap app and access their editable documents right from within the map. Find out more about edits that carry across to the platform here!
Customize your Map with node colors
My own favorite and most time-saving tool is the ability to color code Mohiomap nodes. I know it’s another Premium tool but it’s well worth mentioning how handy it is!
Power Users will be quicker to identify most important documents, notebooks, and notes once they are color coded, getting them back to the what they need to do, much faster. This is also great for our Power User project managers that can color code each stage of the project they are working on.
Access shared files via the team map -
Many of our existing most active users work in teams and need to quick way to access their shared files and see an overview of what their team is working on. The Team map is the best place to do so, accessed from the Mohiomap dashboard.
Finding, analyzing, and accessing your shared documents via Mohiomap is a much better way to visualize known and unknown connections that you have. I know that I found hidden files I didn’t realize I had via this method! Now with images shown as collaborators along with their names, it’s a welcomed tool by all Power Users alike.
These are just the starting steps to becoming a Power User in Mohiomap. The tips and tricks we’ve detailed are from our most active users and how they get the most value from Mohiomap. Even just by connecting multiple platforms at once is a great way to begin your journey, if you want to start small.
If you follow these steps, you’ll become one of our great Power Users. It’s easy to start - just make sure it’s part of your daily or weekly routine and you’ll be on your way to better productivity with your Cloud docs.
