Earlier this year we started looking at how we can extend the power of Mohiomap, particularly focusing on those who work in teams. During our early research we quickly learned that team users were facing the same core issue as Personal Users; content overload, but with one big difference.
Earlier this year we started looking at how we can extend the power of Mohiomap, particularly focusing on those who work in teams.
During our early research we quickly learned that team users were facing the same core issue as Personal Users; content overload, but with one big difference.
Teams in general were storing much larger quantities of contents, hundreds of folders in Google Drive, thousands of Evernote notes, etc. - with most of these only being re-opened once (maybe twice if they’re lucky) while a large portion of them were just instantly lost in a sea of Cloud content.
While most teams would try their hardest to keep their content organized through rigorous tagging or careful folder selection, there always is a continual stream of created content that falls through the cracks and into this deep empty sea.
This naturally results in a lot of frustration for everyone in the team, spending days re-creating content that someone else had already created 6 months earlier, or wasting hours trying to figure out which team member is working on what. Add to this the very real and tangible cost of unproductive time associated in a Business space along with managing content across multiple platforms, we decided to start setting our sights on finding a solution to this problem.
We started building Mohiomap for Teams, a tool aimed to help teams make sense of their content so they will always have the right information in front of them, in order to make the necessary decisions for their business to grow.
Mohiomap for Teams helps you to find the answers to your questions in a beautifully simple way while removing the need for complex Analytics tools - this not only lets you get back to work faster, but also aims to give you the best knowledge possible, exactly when you need it and without all the clutter.
We’re also refining the way we’re presenting some of our Maps, including building some really exciting behind-the-scenes algorithms that will extract and report back smart summaries about your Cloud content. Including, for instance, Maps about which team member is most active in which topic - perfect for those situations where you need to figure out who is the best person to talk to about a particular solution.
Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, you can then jump straight into action, such as organizing folders or sharing your newfound knowledge. We’re making sure that you’ve got the actions that you need to see the job from start to finish.
These are just some of the things we’ve been busy working on with Mohiomap for Teams, and as every week goes by we’ll be adding new solutions to help solve the problems at hand. We’re planning on launching our private Beta in the next few weeks, while aiming to get this new product out to the public later this year.
If this sounds like just what you need and you’re keen to be part of our initial private Beta, please sign up here. Be quick as our first outreach will only include a very limited amount of people.
